Sugar Rio Girl is a big, stout buckskin mare with strong dun stripe from her withers to her tail, not much striping in her legs though. She stands 15.2 and weighs 1200+, has a very sweet & curious disposition. One rear foot has white half-pastern, black mane & tail. She was started in 2004 and rode 60 days, I've been on her 2 times this summer. I bought her at a large divorce/ranch sale in June 2006. She was pasture-bred to a gorgeous 14.3 hand buckskin stud that sold for $10,000 and went to Colorado, Count Hickory's Ghost. She has Doc O'Lena and Sugar Bars in her 3rd generation, plus Jewels Leo Bar and Leo in her 4th generation. Ghost is a grandson of Doc's Hickory and Mr San Peppy, with Hired Hand Cardinal in his 4th generation. You can see info on both of them at
/western message board/allbreedpedigree.western She is offered for sale at $2,400 and can be bred back to my line-bred King stallion for local buyer if desired. I can email pics and extended pedigrees on both mare and buckskin stud. Evening calls preferred. Credit cards can be accepted through Paypal or a money order/cashier check would be acceptable. She is being sold to pay for dental bills, 918-688-2764. I believe she would make an exrodeoent barrel prospect or could go into reining, she seems to be very athletic, or just raise gorgeous babies. She should have a dynamite buckskin or dunskin foal in 2006.
