For the last few years I have been traveling out west 1-2 times a year to help out different ranches with their cattle work . I`ve been to the mountains , Idaho, Colorado , B. C. mostly fall gather or spring turnout on BLM or forest service leases   I`m 46 yrs old , male,  farm raised currently have a small 40 head cow-calf farm and run a few horses as well .I`m a good rider , not much of a roper, experienced with cattle ,gather ,sort ,doctor, calving , etc.  Used to being active and can drive most farm machinery.My deal with these outfits is thmarehey don`t pay me just provide room and board .  I`m not some yahoo looking to run your stock all over the place . You might think I`m nuts but getting to see different country and working horseback is more enjoyable to me than sitting on some beach .I`m not looking for some dude ranch experience here . Long hours in the saddle don`t bother me , more riding the better . I don`t need fancy, bunkhouse or cow camp is fine .
