Christian couple with 12 year old daughter seeking a full time, long term ranch position. Heath, 37, was raised in the cattle and horse industries. He has worked in most all aspects of the including; feedlots (pen rider, doctoring crew, processing crew, shipping crew, mill, feed truck driver, night watchman, office, and scales); ranches cow/calf and yearling (fall-gathering, calving, weaning, bottle calves, branding, weight-gain-basis, shipping, processing, doctoring, preg-testing, winter feeding (hay and cake), rotational grazing, maintenance and care for facilities and equipment, fencing, operate, maintain, and repair large and small equipment, ark, wire and acetylene welding, windmill maintenance, breaking and starting colts, advanced horsemanship training, mare and foaling care, and stallion handling); and cattle transportation (feeder, relocates, sale barns, and fats).

Kathy, 39, has an extensive management and accounting background. She has hotel management experience and managed a veterinary clinic for 9 years. Some of her assets include accounting, bookkeeping, business management, computer skills, financial management, projection management, financial reporting and auditing, and customer and public relations. She also has ranch experience in the following; gathering, bottle calves, branding, shipping, processing, doctoring, winter feeding, rotational grazing, fencing, starting colts, mare and foaling care, animal behavior, and cattle transportation.

Bailey, 12, has been riding by herself since she was the age of 2. She already has experience in gathering, bottle calves, processing, doctoring, fencing, starting colts, and mare and foaling care.  She still has a lot to learn, but also has a strong desire to do so.  We still actively get comments all the time on how well she sits and handles a horse and what a hand she is especially for her age.

We have been out of the cattle industry for a little while due to our son, who graduated in May and is now in college, wanting to pursue a basketball and coaching career.

During that time, we have been raising and training our own colts. Heath received his electrical license and has been working as an electrician.  Kathy is working on getting her certification in equine sports massage therapy.  Bailey has finished several performance horses and been participating in rodeos (barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, steer daubing, and break away roping). We have also been actively pursuing our vision of children's rodeo ministry.
